Bulls trio injured in a car crash

Three Bulls players survived minor injuries after being involved in a car accident outside Pretoria on Wednesday.

Springbok Dean Greyling, Blue Bulls duo of Basil Short and Hencus van Wyk were on their way back from a hunting trip when their car overturned have been withdrawn from their respective matches for this weekend, the Bulls announced in a statement on their official website on Thursday.

"We are grateful that they did not sustain any serious injuries. Dean injured his knee, Hencus suffered some burns and Basil injured his neck, which resulted in him spending the night in hospital for observation. We wish them a speedy recovery."

Greyling injured his knee, Van Wyk has scrape wounds while Short hurt his neck in the crash.

They will be replaced by Morne Mellett, Dayan van der Westhuizen and Nqoba Mxoli respectively.
