SANZAAR takes unusual step of defending Super Rugby tournament's integrity

Despite a system that will see lesser teams enjoy home play-offs‚ Super Rugby bosses are unlikely to alter the structure of the tournament in the foreseeable future. On Thursday‚ South Africa‚ New Zealand‚ Australia and Argentina Rugby (SANZAAR) took the unusual step of defending the tournament’s integrity in a statement after increasing criticism of its obvious limitations.
