Lions ready for Super Rugby warm-up clashes

The Lions have named a squad of players for two warm-up games at the Barnard Stadium in Kempton Park on Saturday.

The Lions will play two warm-up games against the Valke and Leopards, with the kick-off times scheduled for 14:30 (v Valke) and 16:15 (v Leopards).

Team 1 will be led by Warren Whiteley, while Jaco Kriel will captain Team 2.

A group of 45 players will travel to the Barnard Stadium.

Three players - Harold Vorster, Derick Minnie and Lionel Mapoe - were not considered because of injuries.
