International rugby players arrested
Two international rugby players will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court today on rape charges.
The two - one from Argentina, the other from Uruguay - were arrested on Saturday at the Protea Hotel in Sea Point.
They are alleged to have raped a 29-year-old woman. Police spokesman Captain Frederick van Wyk confirmed the arrest of the men, aged 24 and 30.
"The case is still under investigation. We cannot divulge any further details," said Van Wyk.
