SA players overlooked for CAF awards
No South African players have been nominated for the African Football Confederation (CAF) player awards, to be presented in Cairo on December 20.
The Nominations are:

Ahmed Hassan (Al-Ahly/EGY)
Salomon Kalou (Chelsea/ENG, CIV)
Seydou Keita (Barcelona/ESP, MLI)
Mohamed ’Geddo’ Nagy (Al-Ahly/EGY)
CAF African Player of the Year:
Oussama Darragi (Esperance/TUN)
Michael Eneramo (Esperance/TUN, NGR)
Ahmed Hassan (Al-Ahly/EGY)
Dioko Kaluyituka (TP Mazembe/COD)
Mohamed ’Geddo’ Nagy (Al-Ahly/EGY)
Nominees were chosen by CAF media, technical and football committees.
National coaches or technical directors of CAF member nations will choose the winners.
