Carlos Tevez’s representative says Corinthians has made an offer for the Argentina striker and that it is now up to Manchester City whether to accept it.

Tevez is unhappy in Manchester because his wife and daughters moved back to Argentina after failing to settle and Kia Joorabchian says the player would happily return to the Brazilian club, where he could be closer to his family.

Tevez spent two years with Corinthians before moving to England’s Premier League in 2006.

Joorabchian says “he would have no problem going back there,” telling Sky Sports News that “it’s a club that’s close to his heart.”

British media widely report that Corinthians offered 40 million euros  ($56.2 million) for Tevez.
