The South African under-23 soccer team were drawn in Group A with hosts Mozambique, Libya and Madagascar for September's All Africa Games.
Baby Bafana beat Zimbabwe under-23 2-1 on aggregate over two legs in the final qualifiers for the Africa Games to be held in Maputo from September 1 to 18.
The second leg was played over the weekend in Harare, with Zimbabwe beating South Africa 1-0. But South Africa qualified thanks to the 2-0 victory at Sinaba stadium in Daveyton in the first leg last month.
Group B - clearly the tougher of the two - consists of Cameroon, Uganda, Ghana and Senegal.
Banyana Banyana, South Africa's women soccer team, will also take part in the Africa Games. They were drawn with Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Ghana.
