Gattuso taken to hospital after collision

Gennaro Gattuso was taken to hospital following a collision with AC Milan team-mate Alessandro Nesta during Friday night’s 2-2 draw with Lazio at the San Siro.
Gattuso was forced off after just 20 minutes, to be replaced by Mark van Bommel, before being taken to the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Milan, Italian news agency Ansa said.
The veteran midfielder had been complaining of problems with his sight for several days.
It is not yet known what the nature of his problem was but he did walk from the pitch without any trouble.
