A British member of parliament wants the country's serious fraud office to investigate allegations of FIFA corruption after a report that American former executive committee member Chuck Blazer bugged meetings in London during the 2012 Olympics.

Damian Collins of the House of Commons told The Associated Press that "if the FBI used Chuck Blazer to investigate FIFA in London, then the serious fraud office should investigate under United Kingdom jurisdiction."

The New York Daily News reported Saturday that Blazer recorded fellow international executives through a bugged key chain, after being asked to help by agents who were investigating him for alleged tax crimes.
