A riot at a football game in Argentina led to over a dozen police officers being injured and two arrests, a news report said late Monday.

Supporters of fourth-league team Deportivo Laferrere invaded the pitch after a goal by rivals Dock Sud and attempted to attack members of the opposing team, Telam news agency reported.

People involved in the ensuing clashes threw stones. Several vehicles were set on fire.

Fourteen police officers were injured, including three seriously, the report said.
