Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and captain Itumeleng Khune remained tight-lipped over his future with the Soweto giants but confirmed that his agent is in negotiations with the club.

Khune, whose contract with Chiefs ends in just under 120 days in June, was in goals when the PSL run-away log leaders recorded their first win in 2015 when they beat Ajax Cape Town 1-0 in Johannesburg on Wednesday evening.

"I cannot comment on that at the moment, my club and my agent are busy negotiating, so I cannot comment unfortunately," Khune told reporters after the Ajax win, which saw Amakhosi stretching their gap to 10-points at the summit.

"Like usual we need them [the fans] to fill up the stadium. We expect to see gold and black, and for us we know what's at stake. We need to get those three points to widen the gap at the top... that is our mission."
