Polokwane City have denied reports that head coach Kosta Papic was suspended with full pay following their midweek Telkom Knockout defeat to holders SuperSport United.
KickOff reported on Tuesday that Papic was back at the club after missing three training sessions.
The report said that following the 2-1 loss to United, Papic missed training on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
However, Rise and Shine Communications Manager Tumelo Makgoara said that the report was incorrect and that the former Orlando Pirates coach was never suspended.
City have had a poor start to the season having collected just five points from six Absa Premiership matches and are placed 12 on the log.
According to Makgoara, KickOff has since apologised to the coach.
