Khune signs for Orlando Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune’s younger brother, Jacob, has joined Orlando Pirates’ Academy.

This was revealed by the former Bafana Bafana and Chiefs goalkeeper on Monday, shortly after Jacob was officially promoted from the Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy to the Orlando Pirates U-17 Academy.

"Congratulations to my younger brother Khune Jacob for being promoted from Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy to Orlando Pirates you've made the family proud," Itumeleng posted on his Instagram account on Monday.

Lucky Khune, who is older than Jacob and younger than Itumeleng, also played for Chiefs as a striker and left to join Chippa United at the beginning of the current season.
