Cavin Johnson calls for goalline technology but benefited from its absence against Chiefs

Platinum Stars might have benefited from the lack of goal-line technology in snatching a 1-1 draw at Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday but their coach Cavin Johnson said he was all for innovation being introduced to top-flight football in South Africa. “The modern game calls for that. They have goal-line officials already in the Champions League and they have been testing the technology recently.
