Former Bafana Bafana striker Excellent Walaza has resurfaced at struggling National First Division club Moroka Swallows.

KickOff reported on Monday that the 28-year-old former Orlando Pirates star is training with the Dube Birds in a bid to revive his faded career.

Walaza recently joined emerging player management company, Bright Talent, which is owned by former Swallows captain Lefa Tsutsulupa.

Tsutsulupa told the website that he plans to place Walaza with a club “as soon as possible.”

“He is obviously not in a condition to compete right away due to the fact that he hasn’t played competitively for a while now,” said Tsutsulupa.

“However, the touches are still there and he still knows what is required of him on the field of play, it is just a matter of working on his body so that he is fit enough to cope again.

Walaza broke through in the PSL with a substitute appearance for Orlando Pirates during the 2005/06 season.
