SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter has distanced himself, once again, from the reports linking Reneilwe Letsholonyane with a possible move to Matsatsantsa at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

The 33-year-old's contract with the Phefeni Glamour Boys is set to expire at the end of June and reports suggest that the Soweto born player declined a one year contract extension at Naturena which signals the end of his glorious days with the Amakhosi.

However, Baxter admits that he would be interested in signing Letsholonyane if he ends up leaving his current employers.

“I have said this before and I’m going to say it again, I’m not trying to steal Chiefs' players for that matter,” insisted Baxter

“Yes I like Yeye (Letsholonyane) and I respect him so much and all Chiefs' players.

“And I’m aware of that he has not yet renewed his contract with the team and if he ends up leaving Chiefs, I’m sure many PSL teams would be interested in his services.

“And that also includes SuperSport United because he can still offer a lot with his experience. But I don’t know about this thing of me chasing after Kaizer Chiefs’ players.”
