Tefu Mashamaite continues to find the back of the net in Sweden

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefu Mashamaite was on target again in Sweden as he scored in Hacken’s 3-1 home win over Östersund on Sunday. It makes up for the disappointment of not getting on the scoresheet in his side’s midweek 11-1 victory over minnows Vaxjo in the Swedish Cup.It was not a great weekend for Surprise Ralani though as his Helsingborg side were beaten 2-0 at IFK Goteborg.They have now lost their last four league matches and sit dangerously just above the relegation zone.Mihlali Mayambela‚ who netted his first goal in Sweden in Djurgarden’s midweek cup win over Smedby‚ played the final 10 minutes for his side as they claimed a 2-1 league win Gefle.The younger brother of Mark Mayambela is beginning to make a name for himself at the club where his sibling spent a season in 2014.Ayanda Patosi was restored to the starting line-up by Belgian side Lokeren and helped them to a 2-1 victory over Mouscron-Péruwelz‚ but there was still no sign of Andile Jali for Oostende.Jali is fit and ready for action‚ but has been left out of the match-day squad and is yet to feature this season.He has been linked with a move away from the club‚ who seem willing to sell if the right offer comes along.Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Platinum Stars forward Lucky Nguzana made his debut for Turkish second-tier side Umraniyespor in their 1-1 draw with Manisaspor.And Kamohelo Mokotjo played another starring role for Dutch side FC Twente as they won 3-1 at home to Sparta Rotterdam.Thulani Serero remains sidelined at Ajax Amsterdam.Kermit Erasmus did not make it off the bench for French Ligue 1 side Rennes‚ but Steven Pienaar did play the first 67 minutes as his Sunderland side drew 1-1 at Southampton.Mandla Masango remains frozen out at Randers after requesting a transfer from the club‚ a situation that will resolve itself one way or another in the coming days with the transfer window set to shut and the Bafana Bafana winger still having a year left on his contract.Lebogang Phiri continues to be influential at Brondby as he helped his side to a 1-1 draw with Champions FC Copenhagen‚ while Daylon Claasen played for 1860 Munich as they got a battling draw at German Bundesliga II opponents Karlsruher.Bongani Zungu has yet to make his bow for Portuguese top-flight side Vitoria Guimaraes as he works his way back to full fitness. ..
