Bloemfontein Celtic coach Serame Letsoaka insists his side will yet prove competitive this season despite the fact they have won just one match and face another difficult assignment away to Chippa United in Port Elizabeth in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday. “If you look at the last games we’ve played‚ we played Maritzburg and were on top of the situation."We played Free State Stars and we were on top of the situation and the third game was against Arrows and as well we were on top. “We’ve played very well and we can see that we have a team that is very‚ very competitive this year‚” Letsoaka said‚ despite a record of five wins in 25 games in charge since arriving in the Free State.“Unfortunately when we won against Platinum Stars the football was not as good as the other three matches."And I can only say that this is a work in progress.” In total this season‚ Celtic have had five outings with home defeats to Maritzburg and Arrows‚ and an away draw at Stars and a loss last week in the first round of the Telkom Knockout.Letsoaka took over in November last year and finished the season at Celtic with just four wins in 20 matches‚ albeit going unbeaten for the last eight games of the campaign.Chippa will be seeking to return to winning ways at the expense of Celtic after being beaten in their last two matches.Beleaguered Celtic coach Letsoaka clings on to his job amid mounting speculationBloemfontein Celtic are refusing to panic as poor results continue to beset their coach Serame Letsoaka.
