Irvin Khoza reappointed as PSL chairman unopposed

Irvin Khoza retained his position as Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman after he was voted unopposed at the league's annual general meeting in Monte Casino on Tuesday.

Khoza has been PSL chairman since 2002 and he returned to the position to lead an executive committee that includes Kaizer Motaung‚ David Thidiela‚ Jose Ferreira‚ Khumbulani Konco‚ Mato Madlala‚ Dr Rejoice Simelane and Stanley Matthews.

" For me personally I am very honored to have been given a new mandate by the members‚" Khoza said.

"I'm very excited with my new team and I feel like a kid in a candy shop."

The former executive committee members who are not returning are John Comitis‚ Dan Simelane and Mike Mokoena.
