Ajax planning to take the game to FS Stars in relegation scrap

Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo says dictating the pace of the game against Free State Stars will be key when the two sides meet in a crunch league match on Friday.

Menzo expects Ea Lla Koto coach Serame Letsoaka to be a little more cautious than predecessor Giovanni Solinas‚ but still acknowledges him as a tactician who likes to attack.

“The coaching change has changed Stars’ style of play‚ but they still play with great pace and the fullbacks overlap‚ create confusion‚” Menzo said.

”We need to reduce their speed‚ if we do that we can dominate the game. We have to play the game at our pace.

“Every game is crucial at the moment‚ but yes we play a team that is in our area on the table.”

Ajax are 12th on the PSL standings with 21 points while Stars are two places below with 18 points.
