SuperSport United confirm Eric Tinkler as the club's new coach

SuperSport United have confirmed Eric Tinkler as the club's new coach.

The former Bafana Bafana midfield strongman joins Matsatsantsa on a three-year deal.

The 46-year old Tinkler quit Cape Town City on Thursday morning and flew to Johannesburg on the same day‚ where he was announced as the new man at Matsatsantsa in the afternoon.

He will officially assume the coaching seat from July 1‚ 2017.

United CEO Stanley Matthews said in a statement: “We are excited about Eric taking the team forward.
