Leslie Maasdorp is on his way to Moscow to hammer out the details of the new Brics bank. The creation of the New Development Bank to finance the roll-out of infrastructure in developing countries was announced by the five member nations, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, at a summit in Fortaleza, Brazil, last year.
