JSE tracks Chinese markets stronger in illiquid holiday trade

The JSE was stronger in quiet early trade on Monday as the holiday season got into full swing. Platinum counters made the biggest gains‚ followed by gold shares‚ as their respective metal prices rose in Asian trade.Local financial and banking shares were also stronger‚ tracking late trade in China.
