South African diplomats are not excluded from the UK's visa policy, Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma said.

Speaking after a meeting with Business Unity South Africa (Busa), Dlamini-Zuma said all South African passport holders were required to apply for a UK visa.

"They said it is just policy, that once they introduce a visa (requirement) they do it across the board," she said.

Dlamini-Zuma added that UK visas were a concern to her department.

"Whatever we do, we have to make sure that it is corrected."

Dlamini-Zuma said South Africa should also be looking at the permit system for students and foreign workers.

"We have to create an environment where scarce skills can come into SA easily and contribute to the economy."

There was no reason why foreign students, business people and people with skills that were in short supply should not to get work permits in their country of residence, she added.

Her department was looking at extending the work permits of people with scarce skills to five years.

"If I was a scarce skill, I would want to know that if I go to a country I'll be able to get a permit that will last me for five years - and not to have to chase the permit every year," Dlamini-Zuma said.

ANC members will more and more start to find that they are treated as ordinary people from Africa - read whatever cap fits here -, now that the Mandela Ra Ra Ra is over! and especially that they allowed the status of our home affairs foreign affairs to be dropped below the surface of the longdrop latrine.

The rest of the world is not SO happy with the extended profligate family that pours from here.

This is all because of corrupt Home Affairs officials who have made it easier for foreigners to obtain South African passports. They must feel the pinch that is felt by ordinary citizens when they want to go to the UK and Switzerland.

Personally, I'm against any country demanding visas from us when we don't demand visas from them. However, if the UK is gonna be demanding visas from ANC officials, that satisfies me because they must feel our hardships as if we have sanctions imposed against us for all the lawlessness they've allowed to happen to the world's most beautiful & most Beloved Country.

Who cares that those corrupt buggers need a Visa?

It is only just that they reap what they have sown.

Filling positions in Home Affairs with woefully undereducated and completely incapable buffoons.

Just rewards I say.

Fortunately is does not bother me as this is what it says on MY passport.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland requests all whom it may concern to allow the bearer, a citizen of Ireland, to pass freely and without hindrance and to afford the bearer all necessary assistance and protection.
(I've left out the Gaelic)

Happy queuing at Home Affairs .... and I hope their damn visas are refused!!
