In this interesting documentary-come-reality-show, we follow the daily lives of the Carlile Transportation employees as they rush to move loads to the Prudhoe Bay Oil Fields, one of the slipperiest routes imaginable. We've probably all had to drive on a slippery road once or twice, but imagine driving over ice with a heavily-loaded eight ton truck.
NOT GOING OUTThursday, 20:30, BBC Entertainment
British sitcoms seem to have lost their je ne sais quoi in the past few years, but Not Going Out has recaptured some of those elusive qualities. Lee Mack stars as a slacker sharing a flat with his US landlady, who just happens to be his jealous best friend's ex-girlfriend. The situational humour is great, and the well-written dialogue, especially that of housekeeper (Miranda Hart), steals the show.
