Create a feature wall with fun vinyl stickers and see for yourself how easy it is to get maximum impact with minimal effort.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Vinyl stickers (we got ours from Stickaroo)
  • A credit card
  • A measuring tape

WHAT TO DO:

1. Select an area to focus on or you may overdo the look. Make sure the wall is clean, dry and hasn't been painted within three weeks. The stickers are removable, but if the wall has been painted recently, they may not peel off easily.

2. The stickers are in a repeat pattern on the sheet. Peel off the white paper. Ensure that the transparent sticker doesn't stick to itself and that it's straight on the wall. This is not as easy as it sounds and you may need someone to help.

3. Stick the adhesive side of the transparent paper to the wall. With enough pressure, use a credit card and rub over the entire paper. Do this for a while so that the coloured stickers adhere properly to the wall. Peel off the transparent backing and the vinyl stickers should be firmly in place.

4. If there are bubbles in the vinyl, use a pin and prick the sticker. After a day or two, the bubble should be gone.

5. If you are using more than one sheet, measure the distance between the dots and start your next sheet at the same distance as the previous sheet.
