Chic DIY: Add a dreamy canopy to your bed

Want to create a soft and cosy space in which to cocoon this winter? Nothing is more luxurious than a canopy bed. We show you how easy it is to make one in an afternoon YOU WILL NEED:• A drill• 3m voile fabric (for a queen-size bed)• Thick, clear gut• 2 packs of fischer hooks• 2 x 1.8m dowel sticks• 10m rope lightmini_story_image_hleft1WHAT TO DO:1. Hem the fabric to prevent fraying.2. Drill a hole in the ceiling at each corner of the bed and insert a hook into each hole.3. Using thick, clear gut, tie a strong knot at each end of the dowel sticks and loop the edges of the hanging gut over the hooks, suspending the two dowel sticks horizontally on either end of the bed.4. Drape fabric loosely over the dowel sticks. Make sure the edge of the fabric falls to the floor at the head of the bed.5. Throw rope lights over the dowel sticks...
