What do you do with a bumper crop of chillies? You turn them into a homemade chilli sauce and enter The Sunday Times Food Chilli Challenge.

Green, red, orange or yellow, the search is on for the BEST-TASTING chilli sauce.

Send us a bottle of your finest and stand a chance of winning R5,000, a story in Food and a copy of The Sunday Times Food Weekly Cookbook 4.

HOW TO ENTER:

• Post, courier or deliver a jar of your homemade chilli sauce, clearly labelled and carefully packaged to avoid breakage, to Sunday Times Food, Times Media, 4 Biermann Ave, Rosebank, or PO Box 1742, Saxonwold, 2132.

• Please include your name, phone number, email and physical address and state that you are a home (amateur) cook and that the recipe is your own creation.

• The closing date is Friday, May 15, 2016.

• We will acknowledge receipt of each entry received.
