Q: What should I do if I want to have a strong manhood and be able to do more rounds during sex?

A: An increasing number of people are questioning their level of sexual performance. Many have questions like yours - they are concerned more with the mechanical aspects of sex than with the quality of it.

I have younger and younger men asking for enhancers when in fact they have very normal sexual desire and stamina.

We have to remember that good sex is not only a result of a healthy body but also depends on healthy relationships and a healthy mind.

Many people become frustrated if they cannot get a medical diagnosis to account for their perceived poor performance. While a medical condition can be the cause of inadequate erections and a lack of sexual staying power, these can be due to a range of other things, including the side-effects of medication, too much alcohol, poor eating habits and smoking.

Common psychological problems such as insecurity, performance anxiety, depression or recent trauma can also affect erections. They can become ingrained and lead to loss of interest in sex.

Performance-enhancing tablets or creams are an option for men who have incomplete erections because of poor blood flow in the genital region; these should be used in consultation with your GP or urologist.

Always consult a doctor before taking even a non-prescription herbal remedy or other supplement which claims to improve sexual performance.

Finally, it is important to remember that the size and firmness of your erection are not the only factors in your partner's sexual pleasure; and there is no magic pill that can create the perfect erection for every man.
