20 blooming incredible Jacaranda photos that'll blow you away

From arching tree branches that turn the streets into violet flower tunnels to pavements covered in an amethyst snowfall of fallen petals, when the Jacarandas show off there's no prettier place to be than up on the Highveld.

So it's not surprising that Gautengers are colouring each other's Instagram feeds purple with snaps of Jacarandas in full bloom.
