Ever dreamt of living in a Victoria's Secret model's downtown Manhattan penthouse with a spectacular view of the New York skyline?

South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel, 28, is renting out her chic crib for a paltry R85,000 a month.

Rated by Forbes as one of the world's highest-paid models, Swanepoel - who gave birth to a son, Anacã, in October - is looking for tenants to occupy her two-bed, two-bath East Village apartment.

She bought the apartment for more than R17-million before she got engaged to Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli last year.

But with the new addition to the family, Swanepoel - who grew up in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal - opted to pack her bags for more living space.

Swanepoel and fellow Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, who is married to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, both missed this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show, which opened in Paris on November 30, as they embraced motherhood.

Namibia-born Prinsloo also lived in an East Village pad before marrying Levine in 2014. She gave birth to a daughter in September.

Swanepoel posted a greeting to her fellow Angels on Instagram.

"Guys! Good luck in Paris beautiful ladies!" she said.

"So sad to be missing this show! No doubt it will be magical. So hard for me to disappoint the people that always root for me, I wish I was there making you all proud.

"Girls, enjoy the moments together, can't wait to see the show and can't wait for vsfs2017!"

Anne Lacombe, spokeswoman for realtor The Corcoran Group, said Swanepoel bought the New York apartment in 2010.

The realtor described Swanepoel's home as "the perfect penthouse to call home".

It added: "Sleek modern design throughout allows you to enjoy gorgeous city views seen through floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows with abundant sun and natural light."

Corcoran said the living room opened onto a balcony, which was "the perfect location for an early-morning coffee, or some late-night relaxation".

The open kitchen boasts Liebherr and Bosch appliances.

"Both bedrooms have ample closets, with a spa-like bathroom in the master bedroom."

The "eco-friendly building" boasts a gym, doorman service and a bicycle room.
