Nomzamo Mbatha's summer holiday travel essentials

Recently actress Nomzamo Mbatha enjoyed a weekend getaway at the Legend Resort in Limpopo as part of the Vodacom Summer Happy Days campaign. We caught up with her and asked what she'll be packing for her summer holiday

1. Sunscreen

"I do not compromise; I will not leave the house without sunscreen. On my face, it's a must. I'm obsessed with the condition of my skin; not so much on my body, but I want that glow on my face." (Check out our list of 7 summer sun-care essentials.)

2. A wide-brimmed hat

"You can't go wrong with a wide-brimmed hat. It's a must for many reasons: it protects your skin, it stands out and it gives you personality."

3. Sneakers

"When you travel you can't be in uncomfortable heels or sandals. I can be in the prettiest dress, but sneakers are my transport. Especially in Europe because you need to walk around a lot."

4. Zulu beads

"I always pack my bracelets, necklaces and headers. They make you stand out and are a good conversation opener because people will always stop you to ask where you're from. And it's nice to take along a little piece of home when you travel."

5. Neutrogena moisturiser

"On the plane my skin dries out a lot. It's nice to look healthy, like a human being, when your arrive at the airport."

6. Signature cocktail dress

"You never know what event's going to come up. You've gotta have that dress!"
