Nothing plastic about Dr Mia: iLIVE
The fashionable take on a doctor's life, and one who has now gained plaudits for being part of the "Pippie plastology procedure", was a welcome read ("Doctoring the wardrobe", June 28).
It shows that our medicos, too, have personal and softer sides apart from the surgical duties they have to attend to in their busy schedules.
Ridwaan Mia, plastic surgeon extraordinaire, comes across as a very "non-plastic" human being, and one who has, like our heart transplant pioneers of the 1960s, put our country on the global medical map.
