Stop talking and start the doing: iLIVE

Theo Martinez, Joburg | 02 July, 2012 00:37

Talk is cheap. The ANC policy gathering will remain just a talk shop until the ANC recognises that the real problem is in the doing ("ANC moment of truth", June 29).

It's all about implementation.

Look at the Limpopo textbook scandal, and the wider education mess. It's about doing. Stop talking and promising, and act.

What does a "second transition" or "nationalisation" mean when at the same time your children's education has collapsed, their future is jeopardised, and the lack of skills is worsened?

The ANC should only talk about implementation of existing policies and previously megaphoned promises.
