Sapa | 10 July, 2012 00:23
A 1964 Ferrari 250 LM classic sports car draws admiring glances at Art of the Automobile: Masterpieces from the Ralph Lauren Collection, an exhibition at the Decorative Arts Museum, in Paris, this week. The exhibition presents a comprehensive selection of the most prestigious sports cars from the 1930s to the present day. The range of models on display illustrates the most significant phases of European car-making history

An Mpumalanga man was fined R80000 for speeding by the Krugersdorp Magistrate's Court yesterday, Gauteng traffic police said.

Spokesman Busaphi Nxumalo said Andy McCauley, 48, from Witbank, was driving at an average speed of 212km/h in a 120km/h zone in a brand-new Ferrari on the N14, towards Pretoria. He paid the fine.

McCauley was also given a two-year suspended sentence.
