Tell us about your show !Aïa.

The show incorporates dances, sounds and images inspired by rock paintings and engravings.

The music is inspired by traditional African songs and is infused with compositions by South African Mozart artist Phil Thurston.

What inspired this show?

!Aïa is a San name that means a special state of being. The idea was inspired by the relationship between man and nature. The show takes you on a journey of self-discovery.

What should people take from the show?

A reconnection with and celebration of the relationship between man and nature.

When you performed at the Grahamstown festival, how was your work received ?

There was great energy between the audience and the performers. People of different ages and races received the message carried in the play clearly.

How has the show made an impact on your own life?

The opportunity has opened doors to unlimited discovery .

Can we bring children to the show?

Everyone can enjoy the show. All you have to do is switch off from everything around you . -
