LUZELLE van der Westhuizen is Mengsel Design. Now based in London, she studied jewellery design in Cape Town, but moved to the UK shortly after graduating. Mengsel is the Dutch and Afrikaans word for "mixture". Van der Westhuizen's work is inspired by geometric patterns and African and Scandinavian designs.
