Minnie mum on her new SABC1 show
Three days after learning about the sudden cancellation of soapie The Wild, Minnie Dlamini has confirmed that she is leaving SABC1's Mzansi Insider.
Dlamini co-hosts the show with Phila Mazibuko.
Dlamini, who plays Zintle Lebone on the M-Net channel's soapie, denied that her career was on a downward spiral - saying she was working on another programme with SABC1.
She said yesterday: "I cannot reveal too much about what it is about, but it is going to be 100% my personality . [the] Minnie that is not dictated to by anyone."
She would not confirm whether it was a reality TV show and SABC1 failed to respond to questions.
Her publicist. Pumza Nohashe, said: "We have been in talks with SABC1 since February . the public will see her many layers . she will have more input on the show and its content ."
Nohashe said the show would most likely hit TV screens by the end of the year. Dlamini, now also on Metro FM, recently co-hosted SABC1's Live, alongside Bonang Matheba. She has also appeared on the soapie Generations.
