Lady Gaga is more powerful than the Queen, according to this year's Forbes list of powerful women, which has once again been topped by Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor.

Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, came second and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff third, making the top three spots unchanged from last year.

Lady Gaga was the youngest woman on the list, at 26 years. She placed No14, 12 places higher than Queen Elizabeth.

Rounding out the top 10 were Melinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The New York Times editor Jill Abramson and Indian politician Sonia Gandhi.
