Another photographer was attacked when wealthy Durban businesswoman Shauwn Mpisane's supporters tried to shield her from being photographed in the Durban Regional Court yesterday.

The same men had assaulted a photographer in June after he took a picture of Mpisane in court.

Yesterday, one of the men tried to grab the camera from a photographer as she pointed it at Mpisane. The photographer rushed out of court to lay a criminal charge against him.

Mpisane's lawyer, Jimmy Howse, had asked the court to refuse the state's request to have the trial postponed to next month. The postponement would allow the state to add at least 12 more charges in Mpisane's tax fraud trial.

She is accused of submitting revised financial statements to SARS that understated her company Zikhulise Cleaning's profit.

She faces 118 charges, including contravening the Close Corporations Act by managing a business though convicted of tax fraud in 2005.
