When searching for a domestic worker online, do not fall off your chair if your browser stumbles across a man offering to pay you - yes, you - to be your "manny".

The Port Elizabeth man is willing to pay you up to R150 a day to clean your mess.

And he is not afraid of throwing on a black dress, apron and hairnet before getting down on his hands and knees to scrub your gritty floor. For him, a self-proclaimed "submissive", it is a fantasy come true.

"It was always a fetish [of mine] to do housework or cleaning for a lady or group of ladies and be treated like a maid," he said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The burly 36-year-old left the transport industry to become a male nanny - or "manny". He said he was currently working for "Madam Thandile" in New Brighton, twice a week - for nothing.

His advert states he has no police record and will work for ladies of all races in all areas and pay them R100 to R150 to clean.

He was still begging "Madam Thandile" to give The Times her comment at the time of going to print.
