ART ON A SCARF

Lucy MacGarry believes that boundaries between art and design can be questioned by creating functional pieces that also hold valuable, aesthetic or sculptural qualities. Thus L'Mad was born. She's initiated a project in which South African artists print their designs onto limited-edition silk scarves that can be worn traditionally or hung in a frame behind glass. This piece is by Cape Town artist Michael Taylor.

Available for R1200 from http://lmadcollection.com
