A game in which toilet paper and matchsticks were used indicated who should be sacrificed in what is thought to have been a Satanic ritual killing, a Johannesburg court heard yesterday.

This was the testimony of Lester Moody, 19, who is serving a 12-year prison sentence after confessing to being involved in the October 2011 killing.

"We asked the game if Kirsty should be the prostitute and it said 'yes'."

Kirsty Theologo, 18, died after being doused with petrol and set alight.

Lindon Wagner, Robin Harwood, Harvey Isha and Courtney Daniels have pleaded not guilty.
