Fashion commentators say women don't dress for men but for other women.

FANA MOKOENA

I think women should wear what looks good on them. I don't particularly like ultra-high heels, or clothes that are too outlandish or fashion conscious. Like men, women look best when they feel comfortable and look like they're not trying too hard.

CAMERON VAN DER BURGH

I love summer dresses on women. They're flattering, easy and look really feminine. I don't like clothes that make women look desperate: anything too short, too tight or too see-through. Leave something to the imagination. My pet hate is excessively long nails - they freak me out. Too much make up looks fake, but I'm very happy with women who use make-up to enhance their looks.

MAPS MAPONYANE

Classic looks do it for me. You can't go wrong with a beautifully cut little black dress and complementary heels in black, red or nude. When it comes to dressing up, I think most men would pick flirty summer dresses that make women look happy over fussy cocktail outfits.

I'm not a fan of really tight fitting clothes, especially if they don't flatter your body type. My pet peeve is kitten heels. They're so non-committal. Go for a sexy stiletto or stick to flats. -
