"Whatever happened to you after Tsotsi?" is a question often asked of actor Presley Chweneyagae.

It's relevant: none of the movies he's featured in since 2005's Academy Award-winning Tsotsi, directed by Gavin Hood, have reached similar heights.

There was More Than Just A Game, State of Violence, and Zama Zama.

He said yesterday: "People always ask me when the next one is coming up, but it gives me an opportunity to let them know how multidimensional the industry is, and that it's not only about being on television.

"I tell them that you can direct and write theatre, too.

"I'd rather have people respect me more for my work than for the events I attend," he said.

Meanwhile, the Donovan Marsh-directed iNumber Number made its premiere at Killarney Mall in Johannesburg last night.

"I think it will do well," Marsh told The Times.

"It's very entertaining and tells a really South African story."
