Just days after beating Roger Federer in an epic Wimbledon final, Novak Djokovic finally said "I do" to his pregnant childhood sweetheart, Jelena Ristic, capping a great week.
And the 27-year-old "couldn't ask for more", according to the UK's Daily Mail, after exchanging vows with Ristic on the grounds of Montenegro's Aman Sveti Stefan resort.
The newspaper reported that Djokovic and his new wife exclusively told Hello! magazine: "Seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress, smiling and walking towards me, she looked like an angel.
"I was trying to be present in that moment and memorise it. I was focused on her and her smile and our baby. It really was a perfect moment."
Ristic wore a gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, à la Duchess of Cambridge.
She told the magazine: "I was just so happy and probably being pregnant makes it quite difficult to control the emotions. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn't ask for a better partner."
Djokovic paid tribute to Ristic and "our future baby" during his winner's speech at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club after his Wimbledon win.
