Australian airline Jetstar has apologised after a crew member announced that passengers who had attended a music festival should flush their drugs down the toilet as sniffer dogs were waiting at the airport terminal.
The advice prompted a rush to the bathrooms and later triggered gratitude from passengers on social media. A large contingent had attended the Splendour in the Grass festival at Byron Bay.
Jetstar, owned by Qantas, said the crew member would be reprimanded.
"The crew member's words were poorly chosen," it said.
