"We are quite disappointed to have lost at home in front of our new sponsors to struggling Polokwane City," Monyai said. "But this is no train smash.

Wits vs AmaTuks

Pretoria University skipper Tebogo Monyai is not alarmed by the club's poor start to their Absa Premiership season - a narrow 1-0 defeat to "struggling" Polokwane City at home.

Ahead of the university side's trip to Milpark tonight, Monyai pointed to a history of inadequate results in his team's opening Premier League matches since they were promoted to the top flight more than two years ago.

"We are quite disappointed to have lost at home in front of our new sponsors to struggling Polokwane City," Monyai said. "But this is no train smash.

"Look at our record: we lost to Moroka Swallows in our first game last season and drew against Maritzburg United in our first-ever game in the PSL. But we have always managed to regroup and work harder."

The Clever Boys played to a scrappy 1-0 victory away to Supersport United in Atteridgeville on Saturday. "There's probably no better time to face them than now," he said. "I watched them beat Bloemfontein Celtic on penalties [in the MTN8 quarterfinal] and could see they are far from being at their best. No one has their house in order this time of the season."

Supersport vs Chippa

Supersport United are wary of Chippa United, but upbeat at the prospect of getting their first PSL victory at the expense of the returnees at Lucas Moripe Stadium tonight.

The Eastern Cape side are still on cloud nine after getting their season off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Platinum Stars in Port Elizabeth at the weekend.

Supersport lost 1-0 to Wits but coach Cavin Johnson is confident they will bounce back.

"We played well against Wits but were unlucky not to score goals," Johnson said. "[Chippa] have recruited some exciting players after gaining promotion. We expect a tough game, but we will get maximum points."
