A 100-year-old sex therapist, Shirley Zussman, has told Time Magazine that the fast pace of modern life is ruining sex.

She said: "There is a limit to how much energy and desire and time you can give to one person when there is all this pressure to make more money, to be the CEO, to buy a summer house, people just want more and more and more.

"I had a patient say to me, 'I love my husband, I love making love to him, but I come home from work, I've been with people all day, I just want to crash .'"

Zussman also expressed concern at how some young men spend much of their lives in front of the computer masturbating to online pornography, rather than seeking partners with whom to have physical sex.
