Ajax have made a dream start to the new PSL season, but tonight they face a stern test inBidvest Wits at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

The Urban Warriors have won home and away - against Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City respectively.

They also earned a point on the road against AmaZulu.

The achievement is in stark contrast to last season's form, when they flirted with relegation at some point.

Coach Roger de Sa is not getting carried away. But he admits that the results have lifted the confidence of the side.

Tonight's game is away from Ajax's usual home - the Cape Town Stadium.

That could play into the Urban Warriors' hands on a smaller pitch, where the wind can play havoc for visiting teams not used to the conditions.

De Sa says he knows everything about Wits, whose style of play never wavers much under Gavin Hunt.

  • In the other two games tonight, Moroka Swallows host Polokwane City in Dobsonville, Soweto, and Maritzburg United welcome Chippa United to Harry Gwala, Pietermaritzburg.
